A simple but powerful idea
Take 5 for You is a new well-being series from Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island (BCBSRI) that promotes a simple but powerful idea. It encourages employees to take a few minutes each day for some form of self-care—like practicing mindfulness or prioritizing exercise. Over time, that can make a measured difference in an employee’s physical health and emotional outlook, and can help them feel more balanced, in control, and ready for life’s challenges.
Take 5 for You is easy for clients to implement. All materials are available in the BCBSRI Employer Toolkit. Employers simply select and download their preferred content and share on their schedule. Topics include nutrition, sleep, exercise, and mindfulness. Each message promotes an activity that aligns with BCBSRI wellness tools, like Virgin Pulse and the Rhode to Resilience series. New material will be added regularly so clients can continue to promote well-being with their teams.
Plus, if your client participates in Wellness Premium Reward, they could earn rewards based on the Take 5 for You activities their employees complete through Virgin Pulse—adding even more value to this series.
