Os cuidados primários são essenciais para a sua saúde

O que são cuidados primários?

Pense num prestador de cuidados primários (PCP) como “o seu” médico ou enfermeiro. Your PCP is uniquely qualified to see the big picture of your health, and they can help you understand it, too. They can coordinate your care with specialists, labs, and any other providers you might need. This type of coordinated care is designed to make it easier for you to find your way through the healthcare system so you can focus on getting or staying healthy. Watch this quick explanation, then learn what to do next below.

Get started by calling your PCP and scheduling your no-cost annual well visit.

Preciso de um PCP?

Some BCBSRI plans, such as our BlueCHiP plans, require you to have a PCP. If you have chosen one of these plans, you must have a PCP listed with us because they are critical to your care and will provide referrals to specialists, labs, and other providers you might need.

Even if you aren't required by your plan to have a PCP, it’s always a good idea to have a provider who understands your overall health.

O meu PCP faz parte da lista?

Don't see a PCP listed on your card?
