She has played a crucial role in customer experience and digital transformation at BCBSRI, including the company's customer relationship management platform and telehealth rollouts.

Musial received her bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Rhode Island and her certification as a project management professional from Bryant University.

She has become the face of BCBSRI’s behavioral health initiatives in the community, serving as co-chair of the Care Transformation Collaborative Integrated Behavioral Health Committee and as a member of the PediPRN Advisory Council and BH Link Advisory Council. Sheehan, who is frequently called upon to speak about behavioral health issues, participated in the Governor’s Opioid Overdose Task Force and various subcommittees, and also served on the Behavioral Health Fund Grant Committee of the Rhode Island Foundation.
