Behavioral health program highlight: The Pediatric Anxiety Research Center at Bradley Hospital
Founded in 1999, the Pediatric Anxiety Research Center at Bradley Hospital (PARC) specializes in the treatment and research of childhood anxiety disorders. PARC provides services to children and families with anxiety concerns, such as the following:
- Separation anxiety
- School anxiety
- Generalized anxiety
- Social anxiety
- Selective mutism
- Specific phobias (heights, bugs, needles)
- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Services are offered in multiple settings to fit child and family needs:
- Outpatient anxiety clinic: Weekly sessions are offered in the office or in the home using a team-based model (the pairing of licensed providers with non-licensed Exposure Coaches)
- Partial hospital program: Intensive daily services that include both a hospital and in-home component.
