eviCore auths processing update

eviCore updated processing rules on 14 de julhoth for all Medicare code change requests. 

The new process requires a new case to be created for any Medicare code changes.

Effective immediately a new case will be required for ANY changes to an approved or denied CPT code. If there are multiple CPT codes on the case and all are not being requested to change, the new case will still need to include the CPT codes that are not being changed.

For example: if a provider wants to remove a code from an authorization, a new authorization will be needed. Providers will not be able to edit the authorization in their system.
