Effective 1 de janeiro, 2025, BCBSRI has moved from facility contracting and billing and will start credentialing licensed chemical dependency professionals (LCDPs) individually.

BCBSRI will require that all LCDPs are individually credentialing by 1 de fevereiro, 2025. Providers will be able to continue services and bill under the contracted facility Type 2 NPI until 1 de fevereiro, 2025.
