Referrals are continuing to be waived under the Public Health Emergency (PHE) for BlueCHiP for Medicare members through the end of 2021 per CMS. Referrals will not need to be entered in Health Trio.

Referrals are required for all Commercial Plans that require a referral.

When this waiver is updated by CMS, a communication will be posted to the Alerts & Updates section of our secure provider portal.
