When adding a Servicing and/or Facility provider to a prior authorization request in MHK, please pay special attention to the 'Provider Status' field that appears in the last column of the provider search. Please select rows that indicate a status of "Par" and avoid selecting rows with a status of "Contracted". This will increase the likelihood of your request being automatically approved, and not having it pend to a clinical staff member for review.

Some fields in MHK have moved effective 3 de maio, 2021:

• The “Contact Name" field was moved to a new line under the “ZIP Code" line.
• An additional “Contact Phone" field for the contact person was added. It is not mandatory to submit the authorization, but is an enhancement to capture the exact phone number of the contact if it is different from the provider’s office number.

Providers should not be selecting the "non participating provider" box in MHK.
