Bill Murray
Energy Adviser/Consultant, Best Practice Energy
Mr. Murray currently works for Best Practice Energy as an energy adviser/consultant. He served as mayor of the Town of Cumberland from 2015 through 2019, and previously served on the town council and was chairman of the liquor board.
Mr. Murray serves as vice chairman of Rhode Island Health and Education Building Corporation. He also sits on the E-911 Uniform Emergency Telephone System- State Police Commission.
Mr. Murray held a number of executive positions with Allied Plywood in Boston, a division of Ply Gem Industries of New York, retiring as senior vice president. He was also owner and president of Bill Murray and Associates, an importer of wood and related products.
A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Murray served on Lt. General Blackshear Bryan's staff. Mr. Murray was appointed to the board by Governor Dan McKee.
